Therapies offered

Acupuncture:  Kristin primarily practices acupuncture in the Korean Saam tradition. She has extensively studied Chinese and Japanese styles and will use them as appropriate. See FAQs for more information.

 

Moxibustion: Acupuncture points are stimulated with heat.

 

Cupping: The use of vacuum cups to relax tissues and improve circulation.

 

Tissue Scraping/Gua Sha: Reduces adhesions, abnormal scar tissue and restrictions in the fascia.

 

Low Intensity Laser (Cold Laser): An FDA approved therapy that stimulates tissue healing.

 

Posture Alignment: Using an exercise based system that reinforces the effects of acupuncture, to correct mechanical dysfunctions and make movement pain free and more efficient.

 

Chinese Herbal Medicine: Custom formulas nourish and stimulate your body to improve its function.

 

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy: A non-manipulative therapy that helps the nervous system self regulate to reduce the effects of stress and trauma.
