Insurance Coverage

This practice does not bill any third party, including  Medicare, other medical insurance or worker’s comp.

Many people in Massachusetts do not have true insurance coverage for acupuncture or herbal medicine. On the chance that you are covered, this practice doesn't directly bill insurance. If you have coverage and your company allows, paperwork is provided so that you can be reimbursed. It is up to you to find out if your carrier will reimburse you and what information and paperwork is needed.

Full payment is expected at the time of treatment.

Some companies provide what is called an "affinity plan", where the acupuncturist gives discounted services in exchange for being listed on the plan. This practice doesn't participate in any these plans.

Treatment Cost

Acupuncture:

The first visit is 90 minutes and costs $130. This visit includes time for history, evaluation and a full acupuncture treatment.

Follow up visits are about 1 hour and cost $90.

Cosmetic acupuncture is $125 per treatment and includes red light therapy.

Microneedling has a different fee schedule. Please call or email to discuss.

Prices are subject to change.

Herbal Consultations:

If you are already receiving acupuncture, the herbal consult is included in the treatment. You will just pay for the herbs prescribed. The cost ranges from $10-$30/week. Kristin has no financial incentive to prescribe herbs from her pharmacy. The price you pay just covers the her cost of the herbs, pharmacy maintenance and tax.

Currently, Kristin is not using herbs as a stand alone treatment. You must be willing to receive acupuncture periodically if you would like herbal recommendations.
